Faith: You give it to the people you love, but the people who really deserve it are the ones who come through even when you don’t love them enough

The Captain America/Puerto Rico pic  AND Marvel’s majestic response

Captain America Island.

As a proud Puerto Rican, I find this incredibly offensive. It should be Isla del Capitan America.

"I understand that people don’t like Piz, and I know that it’s an opinion, but I don’t get why so many people think he is a bad person! He was only in one season! I’m sure we would get to know his character more if there was another season. Personally, it took me two seasons to start to like Logan! I couldn’t stand him at first! But he had so much character development. And I think if Piz was given more time, he would be more likeable.”

Goodness, I am sick of repeating myself on this. I don’t hate Piz but I do resent he was, and continues to be, propped up at Logan’s expense, as well as Wallace and Weevil’s. The latter two characters were actually sidelined while Piz’s role was probably bigger than it should have been in both season three AND the movie (and we can argue he didn’t NEED to be in the movie, The Boyfriend could have been played by anyone).re: the bolded part: I just don’t buy the “but he didn’t have enough time to get character development/the audience’s approval!” excuse. Leo, Parker, Carmen, Carrie, Mr. Wu, Meg, and many, many others were around for roughly the same amount of episodes- and some for LESS- and were more likeable, had more character development and fit into the world of Neptune better than Piz. Piz was there specifically to be Veronica’s Boyfriend and Not Logan. Those were his two roles. In one whole season and a movie, he was those two roles. No growth (until the last ten seconds of his movie role), no other storylines, no darkness to show he belonged in Neptune and not 90210, no purpose other than Veronica’s Boyfriend and Not Logan. And in the process, he took screen time and attention away from Wallace and Weevil. Unforgivable and lazy of the show and writers, in my opinion.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.

"I wish that we could know what would have happened if Keith hadn’t interrupted Veronica breaking up with Logan in season 2’s flashback. I would have loved to see how she would have handled it by herself."

omg meeee tooooo

That’s one of the times I was angriest at Veronica. She allowed Keith to hit Logan when she knew Aaron abused him, and despite her frustration with him, she should have stopped Keith from doing that.

I don’t know, abuse or not, Veronica isn’t obligated to help him out when he’s breaking shit in her house, you know? I felt for Logan, but when Keith walked in, Logan had just broken a lamp and was screaming at Veronica, who was balled up on the couch. I don’t think Logan would ever physically harm Veronica, nor do I think Veronica was/is scared of Logan, but Keith reacted as a father would. Also, Veronica tends to compartmentalize and keep different areas of her life separate. All Keith probably knew- at that point- was that Veronica was dating and now being yelled at by the guy who had previously tormented her for a year. Yeah, they had known Logan since they were twelve, but the trust and goodwill is gone.

Yo, I don’t recall Keith hitting anybody? He does the typical police perp restrain hold on him and it’s in response to the lamp smashing.
I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I’m a parent so this is a hypothetical situation that I’ve considered whenever I imagine my daughter as a teenager but if I were to come home to a tall teenage boy who is on trial for murder screaming at my daughter and smashing lamps, I would behave no differently than Keith. Worse probably. I would call the fucking cops. And possibly do some Hulk smashing of my own.
During the break-up scene, I don’t get the sense from V that this is how she expected things to go. I think she may have seriously entertained the notion that Logan would see her point of view, tell her that he would stop retaliating with violence, and that they would stay together. Why would I think this? Because she never really lets him go. Even when she’s following the “Normal” guidelines she sets up for herself by dating Duncan again and working at the Java Hut, Logan is always in her line of vision. His reaction to her talk inadvertently confirms everything she is worrying about, so she has to follow through. I think the more interesting confession would be I wish that Logan hadn’t freaked out and smashed that lamp so we could know what happened if he’d just listened to what she was saying. I would have loved to see how that would’ve affected Veronica’s resolve.
I don’t think Logan was in a good place at the time. Yes, there are compelling reasons for this. BUT that’s not Keith’s number one concern. His job is not to help Logan with his rage but to protect his daughter.
As a Logan fan, I wished there’d been an adult around to love him the way Keith loves Veronica, I do. But I’m not mad at Keith for failing to fulfill that role for him. They were not close. Keith knew (and knows because let’s be real, this continues into the present tense) very little about Logan. Veronica isn’t exactly giving him a dossier of his greatest qualities. What Keith does know is troubling so he reacts accordingly.

As always, D says what I’m trying to say, but a hundred times better. Lol
